  BEWARE!! Terrible & extremely rude security staff at the Helensvale Chemist Warehouse store. As a middle eastern guy, the security lady followed me around the whole time the moment I walked in, and I did nothing to arouse any suspicion that I was implying of stealing other than to browse. I arrived at around 8.40pm Monday 20th of November, and I was there to buy some face wash since I have sensitive skin. I spent around 15 minutes in this particular isle reading and looking at various face wash products to see which one was best suited to my skin, and out the corner of my eye, I can see this security woman CONSTANTLY walking past me, stopping and eyeing me. When it first happened, I just assumed she's doing her job, thats great... but then it kept on happening over & over again, so many times within the space of 15 minutes of walking into the store, it got to the point where I was starting to get pissed off. I was extremely intimidated by this, and it made me feel very uncomfortable to shop and focus on what I wanted. Additionally, when she wasn't in my view, you could hear her intimidate other customers by loudly asking "do you need a hand!", and you could tell this frightened them cause they reply back with "ohh.. ahh.. no, I'm.. I'm fine". She would then move onto someone else and she would ask the same thing. Once I decided what face wash to buy, I just quickly need to get some eye drops since Helensvale Chemist Warehouse was about to close in 5 minutes, and as I walked past one isle to get to the eye drop isle (which coincidentally is the direction towards the exit door), this security woman saw me and quickly ran into the isle I was heading into thinking I was going to walk out of the door with the products. When she realised that I was only heading into the eyedrop isle, she stopped and loudly asked "SIR, DO YOU NEED A HAND!", which embarrassed me as other customers were around, and then proceeded to tell me "the store closes in 5 minutes". WHO THE HELL DOES SHE THINK SHE IS! I felt racially stereotyped and vilified for something that I would never do. This is a place to shop, and if you make people feel welcomed, they will spend even more. The security guard is doing the complete opposite and it makes people want to stop what they're doing, leave & go somewhere else, she has no right to intimidate customers or make them feel uneasy. Not to mention, she has NO RIGHT to ask customers "if they're alright".. She is ONLY a security guard, not a police officer or retail employee. To the managers of this Helensvale store, fire this woman and replace her with someone who knows how to do their job. Replace her with someone who doesn't vilify you based on how you look or how old you are etc. because people who steal come in all walks of life. I guarantee you, this security guard is stealing or has stolen before, but most likely thinks she's above the law since she a security guard who thinks she's a police officer. I had no issues with any of the other staff there, the girl at the checkout was great. I asked her a few questions about the products I was purchasing and she told me all about it, which put me at ease because of my sensitive skin.
